I'm back! I haven't been blogging much in 2016 but i did not forget about the annual habit of resolutions review and an annual 2016 review..
Here goes:
Review of 2016 Resolutions
1. Gain mass back to 65kg! Gain muscle mass and find time to swim!
2. Learn / Pick up something new!
3. 600km running mileage for the year! Achieve a 4:30 timing for Full Marathon.
4. Improve my financial literacy!
5. Find time to read!
6. Find fresh motivations at work!
7. Get an average of 7 hours of sleep every night!
Oh man. Looks like almost all my 2016 resolutions went down the drain.
1. First, I'm still stuck at 62-63kg and had no time to swim regularly.
2. Secondly, picking up something new probably only applies to new wrinkles and strands of white hair.
3. Oh I achieved #3! I did a total of 722.2km in running mileage and did my latest Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore in 4:30!
4. Improving my financial literacy by just a wee bit, with the help of a dedicated financial planner.
5. Read? Nah.
6. Motivations at work? Hmm.
7. 7 hours of sleep? Dream on.
Ok, before it all sounds too disappointing, 2016 had been a pretty good year for me nevertheless. At least it had been fulfilling, so much so that I rarely found time to come here. You'd probably hear from me in the next post for the 2016 review.
Time for 2017 Resolutions? Yeah, let's try.
My 2017 Resolutions
1. Gain mass! Target remains 65kg!
2. 600km running mileage for the year! Achieve a 4:20 timing for Full Marathon.
3. Sleep before midnight for most days, and wake up in time for free MRT travel.
4. Clear backlogs in photos and videos editing. Level up in videos production.
5. Have a memorable #Chyork30 year, that includes new travels, new experiences and new accomplishments.
Let's see how this list goes, 12 months later.
