Back from Union Camp(UC). Time seems to pass fast whenever there's a camp. Anyway it seems that there's really a huge budget from what they offered, erm, other than food.
The Amazing Race on the first day took us 8-9 hours to complete and we reached Camelot campsite quite late. I didn't quite expect to have the majority part of UC to be spent outside school. The campsite was quite up actually, with High Elements and such.
Getting to play High Elements and trying Dragonboating kinda wow-ed me. Didn't expect to do dragonboating earlier than next wed's company outing. Was quite fun and worthwhile. PushBall was shaggy but we agreed that deflating the ball was the most enjoyable part.
Having fright night outside campus certainly increased the excitement. But I would really much hoped that they allowed us to take on all 3 routes at Old Commando Camp, instead of randomly giving us 1 of the routes. The site was a potentially perfect place for confidence walks, but I guess 'the ghosts' could have made it even creepier by not appearing at almost every dark corner cos it would be so predictable.
Day 3's pool games weren't held in campus too. I was quite impressed by the booking of Jurong East complex for the event. It was much bigger than the school's SRC. The wave pool and the slides were most interesting. Day 4's beach games were the kind of fun that one would expect too.
And wow, they even engaged an events company to conduct the Slumber Party. Perhaps it's cheaper than booking a club..
Seriously UC was good in every way and it's really surprising to hear about how attached and loyal the seniors are to the OG, which is in its 5th year of existence in this year's UC. They really started on a cool tradition 5 years ago, of mascot, of dominance in certain games, of rooftop chats etc.
Actually im really tempted to join next week's camp too. Really tempting and would have signed up if not for the 2 days of work and the company outing next week.

今日は 日本語のクラスメ一トと 出かけました。 ジェンさんの家に訪ねていきました。それ後、皆Roti Prata Houseで食べました。僕は そこのPrataを 食べたことがありません。 この前に たくさん人が すすめてくれたから、楽しみにしました。
本当に 色々なPrataは ありますよ！僕は五種類の 食べてみました。おいしいね。多分僕は食べたPrata中で 一番おいしいですね。でもそれは 遠くて よく行かないと 思っています。
それから皆Clarke Quayで魔術を見ました。楽しかったでも 私たちは しばらく待ちました。１時間ごろ立って 暑くて 疲れたよ。今度の土曜日 私たち Esplanadeで もっと魔術を見ますね！とても 楽しみにしますよ！
最後 皆は McDonald’sで アイスクリ一ムを食べながら しゃべました。１１時２０分ごろ 帰りました。
