Guess some of you are aware that I've a blog which I co-own with Wenjian that collates the results of 93.3FM Weekly Top 20. I'm proud to announce it's been mentioned in the latest issue of i-weekly (No.546)! Though it's merely two sentences at the bottom of Page 77, it still acts as a little morale booster. Many thanks to the journalist 王瑂雯 for the feature!

The Star: Shiwei
Location: Aloha Changi
Last Saturday, the squad turned up for his celebration. Food was pretty nice and Shiwei played quite a thoughtful host by preparing adequate seats, which had been a logistic overlook at some previous parties.
And we actually made up the biggest group.-----------------------------------------------------------------------
The Star: Janice TanLocation: Aloha LoyangHer birthday fell during the Easter Break and so was able to fly back for celebrations. About 1/3 of 4B came. It was kinda interesting how her mum, Mrs Kitty Tan, (My JC physics tutor's JC physics tutor) tried to get rid of the red-coated eggs.
I guess I'm wrong to only associate red-coated eggs with full-month babies?

Bunka is quite screwed with their Pre-Advanced class openings. I've ended Intermediate-4 for more than a month, and there's still no classes available.
*(EDIT on 14 April, Monday: I've got a PA class already!)
So 5 of us decided to temporarily attend classes at another school, Pyaess. So yesterday was the first.
Being a 1st lesson, there's always the boring self-introduction, and so one-by-one, we'd be introducing ourselves in Japanese, no less.
Then there's this woman in the class, married to a Japanese, and she's SO proficient and fluent in the language, that she certainly doesn't deserve to be here.
So her self-intro was like this:
------------------
Woman: Watashi-wa, XX desu. dscnui fwehfrweuiogf ufwehfuiweghgrac yurgtwegfr! fhwue irwe ri werywety w! hriwer, wihwetrt? wehruiwerh~
Teacher: wrioweur! reutret, ritwtywp, woewturt werowiuwer?
Woman: poere, proeprowewwe. wperiwtjefdf webfwewe wrhwzdasifuy, uihaser. weriowebvt! Haha, uweirwerweiu! ijtrtyer.
Teacher: xlamrt, eifneuwtwtr, isdfhuigfwtrwer. uwhhfuwrhqwee?
Woman: fweirjwejiojda? o, iojwerh! newhruiwe3nsndufi.u oihwerew!
.......................
(this continues for a grand 5 minutes)
.........................
.......................
Woman: Yoroshiku Onegaishimasu!
-------------------
Yes, they rattled off and I couldn't catch a thing even when I'm sitting right in front. It really made me so stressed and helpless. A lot of us agreed that the woman shouldn't have joined that level and spoil the market.
---------------------
Anyway, the teachers speak fast with minimal English. For people like me who placed heavy reliance on teachers' English explanations, this would have been a tough turning point. I would have to pick out a few words in the sentences to try to guess the meanings.
And guess what. A few times when the teacher said something and a few people laughed, I had to resort to laughing with them, to hide my ignorance and stupidity.
This would have to stop!
For once I'm GOING to revise my lessons! No more chucking the books and notes one side to collect dust and rear spiders!
