I got to meet my boss, my big boss and my bigbig boss over the past week.
When speaking to the bigbig boss, I was asked to think about 5 objectives that I hope to achieve over these 6 months. After some good thoughts, they are:
1. To better understand the downstream processes from the business point of view -- how the different departments like sales and marketing work to market a finished product to customers.
2. To have a clearer picture of how macroeconomics play a part in the workings of a multi-national corporation and how it will affect the products.
3. To gain from practical knowledge, skills and experiences that would be relevant to my future careers.
4. To contribute to the company in either tangible or intangible effort, however minimal it might be.
5. To improve on networking skills.

Having officially taken over the work from my predecessor, I really have a steep learning curve in front of me, and a huge shoe that I have to fill. I have added myself to be in a long list of outstanding interns before myself in Pricing, so I'd better learn fast!

-First new friends of 2011: 4th-5th Jan with fellow interns.
-First KTV of 2011: 8th Jan with Campcomm.
-First Mahjong game of 2011: 8th Jan with Campcomm.
