Finally got my hands on the DSLR in the family. Papa bought it just 2 days before his Vietnam trip a few weeks ago, not knowing about the complexities of the settings apart from the "Automatic" mode. Well, neither did I.
That's why an outing to the Tulipmania exhibition in the Flower Dome (Gardens by the Bay) made it a good learning opportunity. It helped that avid photographer KS was there with some pro tips. Here's some of what I tried taking, with some subtle edits:
Now I've come to realise the satisfaction of taking Instagram-like pictures without a smartphone. Next, I'll really have to find time to learn more about what I can really do with the professional-looking camera.
