Sent another friend overseas again. Yuyi has flown to Australia last night. Everytime I send ppl overseas, I'll feel that I want to as well. Afterall, studying abroad is a totally different kind of experience. I would want to experience that too. So, I guess in future, I will try to aim for overseas exchange programmes.

Anyway, today's sailing to South China Sea was hellish. The sea state was so bad that quite a number threw up. I had a hard time controlling myself, trying only to burp out the gases carefully--IF i burp violently, Im not sure what will come out along with it. The discomfort in the chest and the dizziness, took away my appetite and I continued my watch without lunch. And because my job scope while im out at sea is so immense, I couldnt even have the time to think about sea-sickness.
.
And furthermore, it was very stressful today! I was put to take control of the radar during that don't-know-if-can-say operation, and i totally failed! Luckily no one screwed me, yet. It was so stressful that, when i went to take a nap when i'm off-watch, I even had a NIGHTMARE about it. And when i woke up to take over the watch again, I kept thinking whether that nightmare did happen just now, because it felt so surreal.

And tmr's duty again. Kinda sad that my jc class will be having cny steamboat tmr. I missed the christmas celebration, due to duty as well. CURSE CURSE. Hope they enjoy then. But TOO BAD, without me, they cannot have mahjong!

And anyway, it feels nice to have passed the 10000-mark, though it took close to 17 months. To me, blogging has now become an addicted activity which i doubt i would give up anytime soon. Seriously, it's not about gaining popularity or readership, but more of a place where i'll have that sense of satisfaction and achievement that comes with each and every published entry...

Project Superstar 2 Overall Winner is Daren.
.
I didn't take sides for this competition, and I really felt both contenders had been consistently performing up to standard throughout the entire season. They showed us their versatility and multi-sided talents and hence were all well-deserving.
.
Daren deserved the overall champion. For tonight's showdown, I generally think that Daren sang arguably better than Diya. Perhaps cos Diya wasn't quite able to hit some of the high notes in at least 2 songs (Get High and ZhengFu). But both of them put up a good fight and contributed to an interesting performance.
.
This season has really alot less talking points compared to the first. The novelty isn't there anymore, and as what one magazine says, the contestants came well-prepard this time. So there wasn't much to debate about. And there aren't any controversial people like ChenWeiLian and ShiXinHui this time round either. And so i guess less people would have watched Season Two.
.
With the end of Season 2, there wouldn't be Project Superstar in the near future. I do hope the TV Station makes less talent-search programme, at least not of such a high intensity in a span of just a year. The search for singers/student singers/bands/hosts/actors and now, dancers, is really making the audience sick.
