Just had my first CNY dinner with the company.
It's really generous of änergy to have such a sumptuous dinner! It's really rare for me to savour such a great spread of seafood at one sitting.
2 different courses of prawns, 3 different courses of crabs, 2 different courses of fish, 2 different courses of vegetables, 1 course of cheese oyster, 1 course of bamboo clam, 1 course of tofu, and LaoYuSheng.
(and the angbao's bigger than some of my relatives')
Looking forward to our next big event on Friday.

The Kite Runner.

Yay, watched Kite Runner today. I felt that the movie was just as powerful as the book. Only that certain details couldn't be squeezed into the 2-hour movie. But yes, the storyline's haunting. The actor who played Hassan didn't have a cleft-lip though.
A big pity that the movie is only showing at 2 Cathay Cinemas.
Definitely a must-watch.

First Time driving into Malaysia.
First Time driving in Malaysia, and feeling not very stressed.
First Time driving in Malaysia, and feeling a little stressed.
First Time REALLY thinking that I could enter the casino, only to be barred twice, for being 5 months shy from 21 years.
First Time entered the casino, successfully sneaking in after the 3rd try.
First Time realised how big the casino was, after always looking at its numerous entrances for the past 15 years or so.
First Time couldn't imagine how much the casino is pocketing--the tens of thousands of dollars it rakes every little second.
First Time having a stress-free CNY, with no homework to do, no tests that immediately follow a CNY break, no need to worry about being recalled back for NS obligations.
A half-day at Genting, just short of an hour's drive from AhYi's house.
