S.H.E 2GETHER 4EVER 亚洲巡回演唱会2013 -- 新加坡
S.H.E had been a part of our formative and growing up years, especially for people around my age group. They entered the scene in 2001, and it had been an unforgettable 12 years. Last night, I joined 8000 Singapore fans at the Indoor Stadium to witness their triumphant return on stage, after a 3-year hiatus due to an explosion accident involving Selina in 2010.
Here's a review of the various segments in chronological order:
Dramatic opening
The emotional concert was kicked off with a dramatic opening with hits [SHERO]， [迫不及待] and [痛快]。It was a pleasant surprise to know that the special 3-leaf-clover lightstick on everyone's hands was a specially-programmed tool that changes colour simultaneously across the entire stadium. It's a really cool effect that I'm sure will be entering all the mainstream concerts soon.
The stage effects were superb, with the use of a gigantic LED screen that is larger than a basketball court, creating 3D images and visually-impactful complementary effects that went well with songs.

Classic numbers 1
This concert has a strong theme that revolves around the past 12 years' memories. 2 classic ballads followed, which got the entire stadium singing: [远方]，[Belief]。Notably, Hebe's high notes in [Belief] got the audience excited and gave a unanimous cheer.
Solo singles
Each of them presented 2 of their solo singles, which were what maintained their contact with fans over the past 3 years. Ella's [厚脸皮]，[坏女孩]；Hebe's [Love!]，[寂寞寂寞就好]；Selina's [梦]，[爱我的每个人]。Notably, Selina's solos were more emotional, because they were written based on her emotions after the accident. (We could see huge patches of scars on her arms during close-ups on the big screen.)
Positive songs
S.H.E is usually associated with positivity, not just in their character, but also in their songs. Most of their songs are sources of encouragement. In this segment: [花都开好了]；[心还是热的]；[像女孩的女人] 。
Special effects: Hologram
We know that the holographic technology has already found its way into more and more concerts. S.H.E brought it up another notch, by coordinating dance steps with their virtual selfies. It created an absolutely fresh visual impact, especially when the entire stadium was SO obedient to switch off all lights (when told) to make this segment even better. Global fans mentioned that this segment turned out better than some other shows, because of how obedient Singapore fans were. In this segment: [不想长大]；[Remember]；[中国话]。I really liked this.
Faster hits
[波斯猫] and [宇宙小姐] are faster hits that cannot be dropped from the list, aren't they?
女生宿舍segment
In this segment: they relived their days when they stayed together in their dormitory; cracked some jokes and showed their unwavering friendship all these years. I loved the new Acapella version of [明天的自己]。Also in this segment: [热带雨林]；[老婆]。They came together in their teens, and are now in their early 30s with Selina and Ella both married. The walk down memory lane made this concert very much different from their 3 previous World Tours.
Classic numbers 2 + Surprises
[天灰]；[五月天]；[爱呢]；[幸福留言]；[魔力]。Notably, [魔力] is a special connection between fans and S.H.E, and in order to give S.H.E a surprise in the Singapore concert, the local fanclub had placed green stickers on all seats. The plan was to paste the green sticker over our handphones' flashlight, so that during [魔力], everyone would switch off all other lights and then switch on the 'green flashlight' to create a green starry sight.
It was a success -- halfway through the song, the specially-programmed lightsticks went off and the stadium was dark. Then everyone turned on their handphones' flashlight, and the green lights came on. Hebe exclaimed "怎么回事？", and commented that it looked like mini fireflies. They ended up taking a photograph on stage with the green lights in the background.
The next surprise came on with a fake 'earphone malfunction'. Selina's earphone was deliberately switched off, and technical crew was called upon. However, it was a ploy to bring up a "Golden Bell--Best host trophy", which she didn't win the night before in Taiwan. She took the chance to give a Thank-you speech, and it ended with a Birthday Song for her.
Pre-Encore segment
[天亮了]；[Superstar]；[我爱你] were the last 3 songs before the Encore and it brought the atmosphere to a high.
Encore
S.H.E returned with [花又开好了]，the meaningful theme song that marked their return to the music industry last year. The memorable concert ended with 2 classics: [恋人未满] and [美丽新世界]。

This is the 3rd time I watch an S.H.E World Tour, and I must say that this had been the best. It was essentially a report card on their success in 13 albums over 12 years, not including their efforts in their solo careers. I'm sure most of the 8000-audience were there because S.H.E was also a part of their adolescence years. The general make-up of the concert-goers seemed to be from late 20s to mid-30s. The concert ended close to midnight.
I especially loved something that Ella said last night. It was because 12 years ago, S.H.E had made a pact with fans that they'd accompany us till 80 years of age. They 'renewed' that pact and encouraged everyone to "一定要好好地活下去哦!"。 Wow, I thought that was quite an impactful statement.
Let's hope it won't be another 3.5 years before we see them again.
