i have soooo many tings to blog about...and i guess this is the LONGEST EVER blog post that i will ever post.. but firstly, let me congratulate ALL those guys who finally got through today's Napfa re-test!!! YEAH!! IM SURE the thought of NOT going tekong ONE MONTH EARLIER rocks right??? haha.. we shall all have a month of freedom in december!!! CONGRATS to yixiang, royston, stanley, hanbin, peiqiang and all those who got thru this ordeal successfully... great job!!
About today's napfa re-testhaha.. im so glad that yixiang finally cleared broad jump.. i guess today's jump was one of the best in his life?? heheh.. he improved by alot leh! 2 weeks ago, during the actual napfa test, he failed 3 items.. but now, all 3 were cleared!! HEY, its just in a matter of 2 weeks!! WONDERFUL LOR.. impressed.. and today, during broad jump.. we were all sooo scared.. our class gals were there to support him..
ok.. den his first jump.. -fail-, second jump..-fail-.. awww..
den proceeded to all the other items.. all were cleared successfully.. including the pull-up lor.. looks like the months of daily pull-up sessions during break times paid off well yea?
den after everyting, he came back to the broad jump item and decided to give another last try..
first time.. -eh not bad leh-.. den second time -WOOT!! ITS CLEARED!!!-
haha.. the ppl around were all cheering and clapping..HAHA.. everyone was soooo happy!! in fact, during the last 2 jumps, we were all sooo worried and scared leh.. 'wad if.....' but looks like such worries are unfounded.. its really someting worth celebrating.. 1 month leh!!! its a hell lot of difference.. heh.
den 2.4km.. the guys ran wif him and stanley too.. heheh.. it waS great too.. thanks to their own determination, they both managed to come back within the passing timing.. PHEW.. though stanley was just 3 seconds away from being demoted to a bronze, which is essentially a 'fail' grade la..so congrats too! heh. really la, really glad that we could all get thru napfa.. and one of these days have to go celebrate at haagen dazs..woohOo!
About class video and class phototaking today today finally got to take class photo for yearbook..after so many attempts to postpone n postpone further.. but still, there were still so many absentees today. sian. so next week still haf to take somemore. dot. but not bad la, took the foto in front of the pond at general office.. quite nice ba..
den we oso began taking class video.. well its for Mr Desai's teacher's day present la.. haha.. damn funny too.. we r acting out our own impression of his younger days.. lol.. depicted him as a damn nerdy and tooot student that mugs his whole student life.. haha. den there was oso this section whereby everyone gives their own personal words.. then me, weiliang, chongyang and wuliang were all 'nonsensing' behind.. ok, thats very funny i muz say. lol. hope the end product would be nice la.. it shall be one of the more special gifts that mr desai should be receiving ba...
About last night's Jue Dui Superstar resultsgosh. nothing better describes me better than sheer DISAPPOINTMENT. arghh.. i've expressed in my previous entries that i hope to c junyang and kelly during the FINAL showdown at the stadium.. cos i strongly believe that both haf been great performers and both haf great voices to boast of.. and i feel that the finals between the 2 would be one that is worth watching. but..... looks like i will never wait till such a day.. cos junyang's out..
haiyo. WHy. Has compassion gone way too far? i dun doubt weilian's abilities and i muz say i was touched by his songs and voice.. esp one of the first few episodes, when he sang the 'huo cai tian tang'.. but, strictly speaking, his singing is not as good as junyang's lor.. really. and his marks are not very impressive oso la.. den during the male finals round, jy really did better.. haiz. so there is no reason y a more talented person would be eliminated, if not due to flooding compassion votes.. i really cant take it la.. WHY CANT JUDGES' OPINIONS BE OF A HIGHER %? y cant it be at least 50%? thats really unfair. although ppl may say that a superstar MUZ haf the ability to attract the masses and enjoy high popularity, BUT we muzn't ignore the judges component lor.. from last nite's results, it shows that judges' opinions are TOTALLY of no use.. cos the 2 who were eliminated were the TOP 2 SCORERS lor.. viewers ah viewers.. wad happen to u all.. isnt it very stupid to let the more talented ones be eliminated?
talk about xinhui... she has been very consistent throughout the competition.. and consistent dun mean not improving.. the ting is, she has nothign more to improve on, in her singing!! even the judges said so!! and i really feel that her skills are so great.. her voice is so powerful and she can sing so many songs well! Thats y, when i was watching her performance during the finals last nite, i made a change...i hoped to see junyang and xinhui at the final showdown.. its NOT really bcos of the judges la, but really, their singing appealed to me the most lor. really skilled. really great. and im really envious of such voices.. as for junyang, i haf long identified him as a potential right from the start... right from the first 'top 24' , when he sang jiang nan.. cos he got a voice that resembles one of my fave male singers, jj lin.. den subsequently, he sang so many other nice songs that are my fave songs too... there was nothign to pick on his skills and really, im quite envious of his singing la.. so haf been supporting him all along.. den for females, i said i've been supporting kelly.. yup thats true, but xinhui's skills are really on par. and there are so many times that i feel that xinhui is better.. haha. but this time was final lor. i gave my bet on junyang and xinhui and hoped both can move on to the stadium. but sadly, both my superstars are out..
so really disappointed la. talents are gone. wad more can be expected? i really duno. and looks like the results haf affected SO MANY ppl. after the results show ended at 1220am last nite, i switched on yes933fm and there were streams of sms-es that were read out by the dj, abt how ppl were so sad and disappointed.. there were quite alot of ppl hu cried too la.. hahahaa.. den today went school, it was discussion abt this everywhere lor.. and looks like everyone feels the same way as i do la.. den now, im flipping through the chinese newspapers and reading reports about the results and comments by everyone la.. the headline reads: "CAN A BLIND WARRIOR BE A SUPERSTAR?". well, frankly, i doubt that weilian wud be able to fit the bill la.. cos a superstar needs to fulfill alot of criteria and i believe that his disability would in a very much way, affect him and his future route.. actually he has gained so much from the competition lor.. and there's a report that says, the results for the male finals actually paves the route for the female champion.. which means to say, its an advantage to kelly.. but, given all these surprises and miracles that keep happening, i really dun tink there is anyting that is sure. after all, compassion voting may continue to prove its worth and push weilian to be singapore's first superstar.. aww. yes, it may popularise singapore and ppl from the wider regional market may be interested in this unique contestent, BUT it would be quite short run. it takes more for a superstar to keep reigning and stay so highly attractive and popular. and i believe someone without a disability would command that better..
but still, all is not lost la.. from the chinese paper that i read today, it says that actually, even before the male finals, some music company haf been 'eyeing' for junyang. So there is a very high possibility that we can still hear from him la. den mediacorp would also be signing jy and xinhui too.. and there are plans to make xinhui a tv host.. and its reported that both jy and xh will continue to appear on tv shows.. esp those tv game shows.. and also will be performing in school campus.. and there will be a 'superstar' album, where the ppl will get to share and sing in this compiled album.. well, thats a consolation definitely.. cos i really dun hope to see nice voices being gone for good.. cos that would really be a waste la.. so i hope that both jy and xh will get their chance of cutting their own album.. after all, singapore is quite a talent-deficient country.. so since talents haf now appeared, we shouldnt let them off..
ok enuf said abt superstar.. final showdown between weilian and kelly.. i will still watch of cos.. afterall, this is a show that gathered close to 2 milllion viewers.. its 1.7 for last week..den this week's finals should be more ba.. whoa.. amazing. jue dui superstar simply rocks la... gives me a purpose in every passing week.. so i duno what will become of me after the 1st sept final showdown.. hehh.
hmm actually got more tings to blog about de.. but very tired liao.. after such a long post.. hMm.

saturday: ms huda's birthday at fish n co..
sunday: totally mug day.
1 week left to study break. time is flying. heh.
