我又跑去看演唱会了。This time round, it's 五月天. This isn't my first time watching them perform Live (the last time was in front of Taipei 101, when they performed 1 full hour during New Year Eve's countdown), but this is the first time I'm watching their full concert as a paying audience.

1. This has to be my most ill-prepared concert of all time, because there are songs that I had not heard before (pardon me, I seldom venture deeper into 五月天's lesser known numbers). In all other concerts that I attended, I dare say that I can sing along to 90% of the songs.

2. That said, I did look forward to this concert. Come on, everyone, admit that 每个人心里都有个摇滚梦。After watching 萧敬腾's first concert and 阿密特's first concert and enjoyed both tremendously, 五月天's concert became the next one that I hoped to satisfy my rock cravings. It did.

3. We paid for seats that we didn't utilise. Apart from the first 15 minutes, we stood till the end. The last time I did such a thing, was probably earlier in my concert-watching years.

4. This concert was the longest I've ever watched. I was a little surprised they started quite early, at about 8:20pm, all the way till 12 midnight.

5. I was very impressed by the stage set-up and the generous use of LED big screens throughout. The theme was 诺亚方舟 with a 世界末日 feel, and all the effects adhered very closely to it. I loved the effects right from the start, when it showed the "Noah's Ark" that we've all embarked onto, and all the 'space'-y atmosphere. It hit off well with me. Oh ya, the use of pyrotechnics too.

6. Vocalist 阿信, as usual, could not emulate the vocals that we hear from CDs. However, it was as good as his typical "concert" standard--some 走音，some 破声。But very real and sincere.

7. When [倔强] was sung, everyone took out the big placards that have been placed beneath our seats. And voila! A huge rainbow was seen throughout the stadium. I thought it was really really cool, like a massive flashcard display. [Photo credit: Y.E.S. 933 facebook]

8. I think it's smart of them to make the "encore" segment long (yes, 50 minutes!), and split into two. But seasoned concert-goers like us know well enough that both the "encore" segments were intended, because "as long as the stadium lights were not switched on", there're still more performances lined up. True enough.

9. 五月天 made a huge pact, saying that they hope to be the first people to hold a concert at the yet-to-be-completed Sports Hub next door, because "这个场地（室内体育场），已经容不下喜欢五月天的朋友了。" I'm sure nobody would doubt it, since they had already held a previous concert at the now-defunct National Stadium, in NDP-style.

10. I certainly enjoyed the concert much, but I still have to say that I enjoyed AMeiZing more. (Refer to January's entries).
