i'm getting excited about fish leong's new song... well, i tink its because i've been waiting for it for more than a year, ever since her previous
album .. den now, her new song, "lu", will be the theme song for the new channel 8 9pm drama!! which means i can hear the song every day for 4 weeks!! so far i've only heard the song 3 times on radio, on average once per day, since the song debuts in singapore on thursday.. and im proud to be one of the first people to hear the song, cos i managed to catch the song when it is being aired its first time on 933fm.. and the ting is, the song is still not available in m'sia, taiwan and china yet.. so thursday's debut was considered the WORLD debut.. heh.
and i tink her new album still have to wait at least a month.. cos she will be going china to hold her "Love parade" concert in early september, exactly 6 months since i watched the concert in singapore.. its a great great concert.. and i tink i've grown to like fish leong even more after the concert.. so it wun be surprising if i announce that i've memorised the new song 2 days later.. after all, the tune of the chorus is already at the back of my head.. haha, as long as i like a particular song, i will use the least possible time to memorise the lyrics.. and that includes the song that is playing at the background.. hoho.

well, let today's entry be the first Project Superstar entry, after the results show last nite...
basically, i muz really say that the 3 male contestents in the 3rd round of semi finals last nite were great.. simply wonderful.. their vocals are powerful.. but den, in my opinion, i really wanna see a final showdown between junyang and derrick, not weilian.. though junyang will be the ultimate male superstar that i hope to turn out to be at the end, i still wanna watch the more exciting finals between junyang and derrick, who really has a unique voice that can go up so high.. i can see that many ppl are very very disappointed with the results, cos when i reached sch today, sooo many ppl were talking abt it.. hMm.. well i, too, am disappointed about derrick's departure la.. its not that weilian is not good.. i muz admit i really salute him.. his courage and determination.. and truly, his vocals are superb too.. and when i first heard him, his songs touched me lor.. but deep inside, i believe he wun be the ultimate winner la.. duno y, but i juz feel that it would not be an easy route for him if he turns out to be the superstar.. i tink he has already gained alot so far..
den for the females.. i muz say that the females standard, overall, isnt as good as their male counterparts, except for 2, xinhui and kelly.. so right from the very beginning, i've been supporting the 2 contestents.. and true enuf, these 2 made it to the finals! yup.. this is the final showdown that i wanna c.. im glad that the 2 made it to the end, and its not surprising when the results were revealed last nite.. cos, the eliminated Silver, was rather, erm, lousy. her voice wasnt as powerful as the other 2, and she cant hit high notes and was shaky and unstable.. den last week, i was oso kindof disappointed that she got into the 3rd round of finals, cos she displaced Candyce and deprived her of a position in the top 3 females.. hAi. well, she's out la.. and luckily she din get into finals, cos if she does, it would really be bad, cos it really shows that popularity outshines talent..which is undesirable! heng heng heng.
so, summary.. my opinion of the male superstar is junyang and the female is kelly.. though i really support xinhui too....... aiya, to me, kelly win or xinhui win oso dun matter la.. they r both superb.. yea..
and speaking abt superstar, i tot im already very crazy over it liao.. afterall, i watch every single episode, every single results show.. and right from the very first episode that shows the audition round, i've never missed any superstar episode on tv.. only that i never voted or attended any autograph sessions la.. BUT DEN, i realised my mum is even more seh.. apart from watching ALL the episodes wif me from the start, she is also a REGULAR visitor of the superstar website.. hohoho.. and she is the one that updates me abt comments by forummers abt various contestants.. haha.. i cant believe it myself too.. she does read the comments and all that lor.. hmm.. never underestimate her liao.....
heheh.. and looks like my civics tutor (also the discipline master) still haven got the news that 20 out of 23 of us ponned sch on monday.. hMm. if he noes, we will all be in deep shit la haha.. so we shall all 'go one step, count one step' every day, until the day that he enters the class fumingly.. and we shall c wad is gonna happen to us all then... heh.
weekend is here again.. long weekend juz passed 2 days ago, and weekend is here!!
plans for this weekend:
- sunday: meet wx in the morning, attend mindef scholarship talk in the afternn, den watch the last round of fireworks at 8pm..

yesterday was sch celebrations for national day.. but nv go..haha.
went to watch charlie and the choc factory at bedok princess with lanjiao sect+jinhui+jiaozhu's fren esther.. the ticket price is really drooling lor.. 5 bucks for eve of public holiday.. thats almost HALF PRICE elsewhere lor!!~ when i reached bedok int at around 11, the whole place was swarmed by students in red... so many and so crowded.. well, there r really lots of schs in bedok la.. den the cinema we went was also flooded with students..
den after that we went to my uncle's fried kway teow stall to eat.. my 2nd time in 6 years that i've brought friends over to eat.. haha. den we went straight to hp's house to chiong some vcds first, before going to marina to haf our steamboat feast..
we started steamboating at 9pm.. den ate all the way to 1115pm.. it was great, not juz cos of the food, but oso cos we get to enjoy the nice songs from the fireworks festival carnival concert!! Esp got FIR!! woohoo~ den we made our way to find a good spot and settled down, to wait for the countdown to national day, with the other 20 000 people at marina south.. when it was finally national day, 15 minutes of fireworks show was displayed, by the singapore fireworks team.. really fun n great.. the atmosphere was great too..
reached hp's house at 130am.. but we still went on the play on the playground swing.. and of cos made alot of the metal cringing sound.. luckily no one complained or wad.. haha.. it was 3am when we all finished bathing, and considering that we were all drained, we din start the next round of vcd marathon..
the marathon started again at late morning and went all the way to 530pm.. we completed a total of 11 vcds this time round, one short of the 12 vcds that we managed to clear during our last overnite stay.. haiz.. so still got 3 more that we cant finish.. duno how to clear the last 3 leh, cos initially we hoped to clear all by today.. den the last 3 vcds are really the climax of the show lor.. haha. 'wo he jiang shi you ge yue hui 3' is really really nice.. those hu haven watch it, go and rent or buy the vcds.. cos u wun noe when ch8 wans to air the show.. those who haf watched the 1st n 2nd series, like me, you really ought to continue..
long long weekend is ending soon, and i tink im starting to worry.. haha cos now when i look back at the last few days, i realise i did nothing leh.. was enjoying quite alot.. hmm. tmr ba.. i shall fully utilise tmr to make up for all the guilt that i had accumulated across the past 4 days..

yesterday was damn lazy la.. so didnt go swimming.. but i will surely make up for it de..
den last nite was oso the first day of the singapore fireworks festival.. so i went dere to watch the 12-min fireworks showcase.. i tink that was one of the longest fireworks that i had watched.. not bad actually.. den still got 3 more shows.. tmr at 12midnt, there will be another one, performed by our singapore team, right after the countdown to national day.. duno if i haf the chance to catch it or not.. but the chance is quite high la, considering that tmr's dinner wif the lanjiao ppl will be at MARINA SOUTH..eating steamboat buffet..hee.. another great opportunity to GAIN WEIGHT!! shiok la.. but im still quite far from my targetted 55kg by the end of the year leh.. how ah how ah.. these few WEEKS ive been eating 1.5 times of what i usually eat leh, den my weight is still stagnant at the same level.. hMm. ok back to the topic.. so tmr, the steamboat should take quite long la.. hope can eat until very very late, den walk from marina south to esplanade, den watch abit of the concert (got FIR!!), den watch fireworks.. heheh. nice plan by me, but duno wad the lanjiao ppl tink la.. tmr den tell them..
today woke up quite early, den accompanied wx to bedok int mac.. cos actually today was his mass sales day aka flag day, for his volunteer programme.. den volunteers will come and sign in and sign out to help to sell those donation tickets.. and it was simply amazing lor, cos there was a grp of dhs sec 3 gals to help to sell la, as part of their class cip.. den they were soooo enthu!! there were 5 of them, and they sold their share of 20 tickets each in juz 1.5 hours.. and the thing is, they even return and asked for MORE to sell.. so in a total of 3 hours, they each sold 40 tickets.. whoa!! this is very surprising leh.. those gals were so nice ppl.. did all they could for charity and when wx asked them how many cip hours they wan, they said anyting, cos it wasnt really for the hours that they did all that.. haha.. yup, as im impressed with their effort and mindset, im equally impressed with the number of singaporeans who still buy those donation tickets, esp when the nkf saga ended not too long ago.. den i even heard from one of the gals that someone actually bought 5 tickets in a row.. wow..
den wx oso gave me 25 books (25 X 10 = 250 tickets!!!) to help him sell.. hahahahahah. erm.. how ah.. lol
after that i went to roxy sq for a haircut la.. then it was SOOO COINCIDENTAL!! lol. Liang was there too and really, it was NOT pre-planned la.. whoa.. today we really got fate, cos he said he didnt really wanna go cut hair today.. den for me, i oso din wanna go cut hair today, if not because wx wanted to leave earlier from bedok, thats y i get to haf a bit of time for me to cut hair.. haha. the probability was really almost zero.. hMm.
and oh.. tmr the class is going to celebrate chaw mun's bday.. arghh i cant go again, cos ive already long settled that the day is to be spent wif lanjiao ppl.. haiz.. Y is it that class outing days ALWAYS clash with someting else.. this is the 5th time already leh.. its the 5th class activity day that i've missed.. that includes..last yr's steamboat dinner, this yr's sentosa outing, class bbq, chaw mun's bday and someting else that i forgot.. hai.. but i feel sorry la and i really really really dun hope that this will be the last already leh..
::amended plans for the remaining days of the long weekend::
- monday: wake up late late, den go watch charlie n the choc factory wif esther n geraldine(jiaozhu).. after that go lunch with lanjiao ppl at joochiat, after that go tea-break with lanjiao ppl at duno where, after that go steamboat dinner with lanjiao ppl at marina south, den hopefully can go watch fireworks, den go haf supper with lanjiao ppl at duno where, den go hp's house to watch overnite vcds..
-tuesday: continue the vcd marathon until we finish the entire show.. depending on wad time it will be, den i decide my schedule.. either go home slp or go out somemore..
-wednesday: its my mugging day, for the coming tests and oso to finish my tutorials.. but mayb i will give up 2 hours for my swimming make-up.. hee. of cos wednesday muz watch jue dui superstar too..
-thursday: oops. the end of the long weekend.. gotta see how to answer to the discipline master after ponning monday's celebrations.. haha.
