Just one week into February, the month is already looking like a fun one.
1st Feb: Lizhen was married! And so it became another OCIP gathering. On a side-note, this year's going to be a great wedding year, with a total of 9 in the pipeline.

The annual Staff Appreciation Night concluded on 30th Jan, much to everyone's relief. 3 months of work finally ended in a fast-paced night of events. As with most large-scale events, there had been hiccups along the way, but it was comforting to note that things were mostly smooth throughout the night.
The thing about being involved in the same event for the past 3 times, was that I never had the chance to enjoy the night as a normal employee – taking photos around the tables and/or toasting my colleagues. I did feel like I've been missing out much.
That said, this year's committee was a fun bunch to work with. Although the planning and preparation processes were tiring, they were still enjoyable. But comparatively, I do miss last year's committee a little more -- it felt like everything fell into place much more nicely last year.
Please don't nominate me into the committee again!
