The Spades Sect had fun playing SPADES at Jiaozhu, Geraldine's hall last night. In spite of the long day each of us had, we caught a movie and made our long journey to ntu. We had 3 good games, before adjourning at 5am. And it is worth noting that the last time the 4 of us played physically together, was actually TWO YEARS AGO in Sabah.
I hope we wouldn't need to wait that long, before finding time amidst our busier schedules now.

The Tokyo Trippers met up for dinner just now, barely 1 week after the trip. Eugene, who was in Tokyo at exactly the same days with us too, was there and we all shared experiences. We reminisced about the 8 days there, and it was just obvious that we all miss Tokyo.

And i'm just hours away from the big run. Guess I gotta catch some limited sleep soon.

They had gripped the nation's close attention since a week ago, and had set the nation crying ever since the worst was confirmed.
I had read the blogs set up to remember them. It had really set me thinking. It also dawned on me, whether I have half as many things worth remembering, if I had to be the one to leave.
It had really been a dark week for Singapore.

I did a short 5km maintenance run today, the last before Sunday's Marathon. And i've decided, that even after the marathon, I'm gonna do such maintenance runs regularly, but of course, with lower intensity.
Next week shall be such an exciting and adventurous week! The day after the marathon, we'll be flying to Kota Kinabalu, to scale the 4095m Mt Kinabalu. And after the descent, we'll be white-water-rafting!
After reading up on blogs of people who had climbed the mountain, I think we really ought to pray for good weather, which the last stage of the climb is dependent on. I'd definitely not want to reach 3000-over metres and then descent disappointedly. I'd want to see for myself how it is like to be overlooking all the clouds below, with the surrounding temperature nearing freezing point, and capturing the first glimpse of sunrise on such high ground.

ORD Celebration #5. 24th Nov 07, Saturday.
The 07/04 gang of 4 had a simple ORD dinner at Suntec. Spicy ramen? Level 2 in spiciness? No sweat!!! Ok, at least less sweat than CY or WL.
Fine, i didn't drink the soup, that's why.

My Japanese classmates, or rather, my classmates from Japanese Class were bombarding with so many questions today!
"Hey, where did you stay? How much did the hotel charge?"
"Which part? It's south of Shinjuku area right?"
"Did you try the hot springs?"
"Oh, did you go Hakone? Was it nice?"
"Did you visit their anime shops? It's a whole building right!"
"Entered their clubs?"
"..."
Ok, one of them is going Tokyo soon. She'll be the 3rd Tokyo Tripper from my class, counting only in very recent months.
And guess what, about half of my class had been to Japan.
Ugh, I forgot to ask my teacher if he's addicted to Pachinko too.
