My 5th consecutive saturday movie: Eight Below

**** (I love it!)Being an animal lover and a 100% dog lover, this movie certainly turned me on. Based on a true story, the film captured the courage, determination and the fighting spirit of the 8 handsome dogs, which were trapped more than 6 months in the extremity of the Antarctica. Touched and inspired by the movie, i've once again reaffirmed my strong belief that dogs ARE Man's best friends.

its Good Friday, and according to family tradition, we all went tomb sweeping, in accordance with Qing Ming Festival..
One interesting fact: Tomb-sweeping Day is the ONLY day in the year when all my father side relatives gather. Not even during CNY, cos we dun have a BIG FAMILY reunion dinner... So, unlike most families which would meet up at some high-class restaurants during CNY, our big family only meets up, at the
cemetery.
but anyway, its quite warming, to see the gathering of all the relatives together.. My nephew's in primary 3 this year already.. And its always nice to listen to the conversations of the adults, especially on politics, which i've always been keen on listening...hahz.

Then i went to meet my BMT section 4 mates once again. Heh, thats the 2nd time in a span of 1 week.. im glad that our section still remains as bonded as before, hopefully this will continue yeah.. ANd we'll all be celebrating our birthdays together on 1st july... (just to mention something, my birthday's on 3rd july..). I guess most of us still prefer BMT section-mates than the current bunk mates.. Well, at least to me, i do. And its too bad BMT was only 9 weeks. sighz.

Today's my 1st day of a 10-day long break. ITs actually more of a forced-leave, which consumed away 5 days of my leave lor.. that means i have only like 4 days for the REST OF THE YEAR. ARGH.
Honestly, i dun feel any excitement about this break, cos firstly, i wun cherish this as much as i would if the break comes after some tiring course. Come on la, who would take this break seriously, after u've just gone through 4 weeks of sleep right... Then secondly, there'll be no one to accompany me for this break lor! Its not a school holiday, so ppl will b schooling. The rest will be either working, or stuck in camps. I'll be sooooo bored sia.
So, i just wanna say, whoever is free at ANY TIME during the next week, DO date me out k.

today's tj's biennial event, Mardi Gras, and it only came to my knowledge 2 hours before the start of event. Vin was asking, den since i would have nothing better to do after getting my new haircut, i agreed to return to tj, with my bag of soiled clothes.
it was quite happening in tj by the time i reached. Performances were everywhere and the college was rather packed. Then saw a few familiar faces here n dere.. then spotted our class gals and joined them around..
we managed to find our civics tutor cum discipline master, mr tong, and he accompanied the 6 of us to watch the performance by our sch's campus superstar representative, and then talked with him awhile and got some updates of the school here n dere..
i would say the atmosphere this time round was not bad..and it was quite a big event, with 40 over performances at 5 venues.. the college spirit was felt and the teachers and students were enjoying themselves.. And the music arrangement of the college anthem was different when i heard it today at the closing of the event.. it was kinda hip and bubbly.. duno how to describe, i thought it was quite nice..
Going back to tj just reminds me of college life.. im glad to be back there today, at a place where i once called, My Second Home.

Updates of the weekend..1. Saturday noon: BMT section 4 gathering.Its not really a section4 gathering actually, cos shawn, dingz n lipyong was present as well.. We had BillyBombers Lunch (again...) and it robbed me of 25 bucks.. But its gd to catch up with some of them and noe how's everyone doing, 1 month after our pop..
2. Saturday afternoon: 'Typhoon' movie with vinSince both of us were likely to be the only ppl interested in the movie, we didnt really sms the squad, cos most prob no one would come.. and this shall be the 4th consecutive movie i've watched in 4 straight weekends..
3. Saturday night: Supper at bedok 85 market with vin + gthuiCant think of anything to do for the night? Well, there's always FOOD as the option. So we went bedok 85 for supper and left close to midnite.
4. Sunday morning: Breakfast at bedok int market with vin + gthui + yLCant think of anything to do in the morning? FOOD is the answer again. So we went bedok int for a meal.
5. Sunday morning: #13 driving lessonMy performance was real bad. My car engine stalled no less than 5 times on the roads and junctions. And whats more, i hit the side kerb and produced a loud thud while U-turning. Sigh, because of this, i was a little discouraged and my performance maintained at a low level throughout the lesson. HOW to pass the practical like this huh????????????????
