ARGH.
I almost could have added 1 more to the list-so-far, during the upcoming MIRI trip in july. Gunung Mulu National Park is just a 20-min flight from MIRI city!
If i had known it's THIS NEAR, I would have requested for a longer trip when we booked it about 7 months ago.
Gunung Mulu's best known for THE PINNACLEs (go google the pictures) and alot of interesting caves. And of cos, the famous sight of millions of bats flying out of the caves.
I guess I'd go for a trek there one day.
(In the meantime, Niah National Park shall be the main highlight.)

Had a pretty bad dream last night.
I was convinced that a friend of mine died, and i went to his funeral. I felt sorry for his parents and I teared alot.
The agonising dream spanned a few days, and I was crying 'throughout that few days', reminiscing the previous days I had spent with the friend.
Then I woke up to realise my eyes were really wet. I might really have shed quite abit of tears for 'that few days' in the dream.
My initial reaction was: "Phew, heng it's just a dream." AND so with that, I quickly wiped my eyes and get back to my sleeping position, so the dream could continue. =)

Finally the latest channel U talent search contest had ended. It's gonna be the last of the entire series of superstars/superbands for some time. Which is a good thing. The country is too tiny to support average talents, and the frequency of such talent shows are putting viewers to exhaustion.
I'm glad the channel has started showing 百万大歌星. But it's SO horribly edited and cut to squeeze into the one-hour timeslot, that i'll return to watching it online.
We should have a Singapore version here. Actually we did, but "Don't forget the lyrics" only caters to followers of Angmoh songs and so will never ever appeal to me in this life. If there's a Mandarin version, I may just consider registering! =)

Wanted to enter Uniqlo this evening, but this time round, i was really put off by the long queue to even ENTER. The queue today was twice as long!
So I met them at bedok for a mini feast.. And the after-dinner activity was, Tampines One once again.
Sadly, Uniqlo was closed for entry by the time we reached. But we managed to get in, cos I genuinely only wanted to enter to change shirt sizes. And so, it became a rare sight to have so few people around.
One thing i really like about Uniqlo is the very courteous and warm staff. Perhaps they are really trying to bring in the Japanese way. You can get greeted 'Welcome to Uniqlo' even after shopping in the store for 15 minutes already, because you had just walked past another staff stationed somewhere deep in the store. You can receive as many 'Thank you for coming' on your way out from the cashier if you pass by as many staff. Such service standards should be emulated everywhere in the country!
Anyway, I still can't find the swimming pool in the mall. Where is it?
