November has been much more eventful compared to October.
1. I secretly went for an audition earlier this month, for a variety show in 2015. It's really not something big, and the number of people at the audition was countable with 2 hands. The audition was more like an 'interview', with 3 'interviewers' from the production team. We exchanged some views about the show's previous seasons, but I was a little stuck when asked about how they could improve the show in the next season. It was a pretty unique experience.
There hadn't been news following the audition, so I can probably assume that I didn't make the casting round. It was a cool experience nevertheless.
2. We had our half-yearly Dharma class gathering last Sunday and more than half the class turned up to a party of food. I always enjoyed the sharing sessions, where we raised topics and discussed. It's a shame that having been classmates for 1.5 years, I still do not know their names! Every monday evening after the class ends, everyone would be rushing home, hence limiting interaction between classmates. The class committee did a really good job at organising this gathering -- even preparing games and prizes.
3. I made a new batch of 100 postcards out of my recent Rinjani Trip and the goods had finally arrived! Let me know if you'd be interested to receive a Limited Edition postcard that you can never find anywhere else. :) 10 designs to choose from.
4. Met some friends for a Friday of drinks. After some local delights for dinner at a hawker centre somewhere near my workplace, we headed for our first round of Happy Hour cocktails at a hidden corner of Tanjong Pagar. Then came a beer-y 2nd round. Then we adjourned to another corner at One Fullerton and had another round of shots. Make that 2. Then we shifted to the open air area for yet another round of shots. And then a night at Butter Fac. It's been at least 5 years since I last stepped into a club, it certainly made me feel young again.

5. The JC gang met again at CM's wedding. A posh venue indeed, and you never had to take your own serving, because every dish had been apportioned and served to you individually. The live band was great --the female vocalist did very good renditions of the selected songs. Our table had some good laughs at the emcee pair, who happened to be our very own PS/WL duo, but they did pretty well onstage. It's always very nice to see friends happily married, and many more are in line over the next 2 years.
人生是黑白的.
