It had been quite a stressful 2 weeks for me somewhere in Tanjong Pagar, and I don't quite find much meaning in what I'd been doing these 2 weeks. It was intensive straining and concentrating on my laptop for more than 10 hours a day, only to return home with a literal headache and poorer eyesight. It doesn't help that I get the frequent shivers, (not just from people), but also from the recent cold temperature lurking in the workplace.
I'm glad there's still positivity outside those weekday hours.
-A recent cousin's wedding enabled me to feel appreciated and important.
-A recent marathon enabled me to feel alive again.
-A recent involvement in a Puja enabled me to gain merits and made some new friends.
-There's also the recent SEA Games that'd keep me busy over the next week. (The Opening Ceremony was one of the most spectacular ones in SEA Games history, setting a high standard ahead of Singapore 2015)
Certainly looking forward to all the year-end gatherings too. 2014, you'd better be a better one.
