I don't know why, but my peers have all become old.
Or perhaps, it's too easy an excuse to put inside their mouths.
Can't walk extra because you're old.
Can't climb stairs because you're old.
Can't run for 5 minutes because you're old.
Can't cycle for too long because you're old.
Sigh. At just 24-26, I'm genuinely unsure if you're really feeling the pains of old age, or are just plain lazy. Shouldn't this be the period of our lifetime when we actively engage in activities, and put complaints and excuses at the back of our minds?
I'm not old.
I'm still dreaming about the day I conquer Mt. Kilimanjaro.
I'm also recently inspired by an article of a runner who completed one round of Singapore over a few occasions by running.
I'm also interested to do a run from office to home.
And I'm still hoping for more PBs in the races that I'll still be joining.
So friends, drop that 'old' word. Drop those excuses.
人生是黑白的.
