I sent 4 postcards today. To date, I've already received one postcard, and that means 8 more are expected to arrive over the month or so. Getting myself into Postcrossing also makes me on a constant lookout for postcards whenever I am outside, as (if you have also realised) postcards are rather hard to find nowadays.
1. This card was sent to Christa from Cologne, Germany. She's a senior citizen and I told her how much I loved her country.
2. This card was sent to Kristen from Salt Lake City, USA. She's 25 and is doing research in engineering. I'm amazed that she keeps a tarantula as a pet and that she likes "coincidences" and "surrealism". Anyway, I decided I can get her a non-Singapore postcard because she has received 2 from Singapore and she doesn't give me the impression that she only wants "touristy" types.
3. This card was sent to Katerina from Ivanovo, Russia. I got her a non-Singapore postcard, also because she has had received 3 postcards from Singapore before, and she's happy to receive any postcards that are "positive, vivid and radiates joy".
4. This card was sent to Polina from Grodno, Belarus. She's a musician! (And so, the previous card #3 might actually suit her more.) She mentioned that she likes drawing, and so she might appreciate the artistic nature of the iconic Helix Bridge in the postcard. Interestingly, she speaks 4 European languages.
