I made a recent trip (28~30 June) to Bali. It wasn't really for holiday as it was to be a teambuilding work deal, and the clients flew us to a resort there.
A couple of memorable stuff.
1. It was my first time conducting a game task in Chinese (It was a Chinese company), and it felt new and different.
2. It was my first time going overseas for teambuilding work, and it felt really chillax. Being overseas just means that you're away from the computer and it's pretty much just the TV in your room and the gigantic 4-person super-sized bed that I have all to myself.
3. It was my first time in Bali, and it didn't feel any different from other touristy Indonesian islands like Bintan and Batam. I loved the weather there--though it is sunny (and hot) in the day, it wasn't that humid, and the nights were cooling. Oh, and the beach and the coastline were pretty.
4. Our working hours in Bali were relatively short, compared to a typical teambuilding day in Singapore, and that really gave us good amounts of chill time to watch tv/sleep/read/sun-tan/eat.
Am really thankful for the overseas opportunity. I did have fun there and enjoyed the 3 luxurious days.
