It was surreal. But my last day of school ended like all other days. Nothing too special, except for a group photo outside LT7A, the venue of my last lecture.
I was happy because this semester had been tough and I had been looking forward to this day for so long.
But I'm not sure if I had cherished the lecture days enough. After all, it is most likely something that I can never look back at, again. The freedom of strolling into the LT late; the freedom of not paying attention to the lecturer if I'm not keen; the freedom of being dressed sloppily in slippers and shorts; the freedom of dozing off in lecture without facing any repercussions, etc.
School days are always fun and free. If you minus deadlines and exams, that is. I guess I'd miss this part of my life.
Just 2 more trips to NUS to finish my 2 exam papers. And then it's a total new phase that awaits. One of apprehension, though.
