24 weeks passed too fast. If not because i extended internship by 3 more working weeks, yesterday would have been the last day for me.
Nevertheless, the department celebrated my farewell with a good lunch at a Japanese restaurant. It felt like a good end to the past enjoyable 24 weeks.
As yesterday was the actual last day for some of the other interns who didn't extend, the interns had our own farewell dinner for everyone at a Turkish restaurant. This was to count as our 7th outing in 6 months, and was on top of seeing each other every working day. And that's probably why some of us have got mixed feelings about leaving internship: happy that the work is done and internship is completed, but sad to leave the environment, the people and the fun.
But that aside, I'm still looking very forward to my well-deserved trip tomorrow.

On a sidenote, I was walking home from the MRT when I saw what-looked-like a movie set. The immediate thought to myself was, "Could this be that Michelle Chong's movie"?
The nearer I walked, the more female fans holding DSLRs there are. This further confirms it, because they must be there for the male lead, 小鬼. And so I reached, popped my head here and there curiously, and saw the pair of actor&actress at the coffeeshop table.
I stood around to watch the action for quite a good 40 minutes, because it isn't common to come near home to film a movie for the silver screens. And it's directed and acted by one of my most admirable female stars in Singapore.
Certainly not an easy job. I witnessed how a 20-second dialogue on screen, could take an hour to shoot. Some NGs here and there, but a significant portion was contributed by the people around--noisy motorcycles zooming past/ crying baby at a distance/ coffeeshop helpers washing dishes loudly/ people walking into the camera scope unintentionally etc..
Anyway, the movie is 一泡而红 and will debut sometime this year.
人生是黑白的.
