My current intern position will be dissolved on 17 June. The new intern position will begin on 4 July.
Self renewal is an important process. I will graciously step down from office on 17 June, to make way for the new candidate. The new candidate is a qualified one, and will be introduced at a later date officially, for public scrutiny.
I am serving almost for one term in office. I served the people to the best of my abilities, not the other way round. But it is almost time to move on. The PM has agreed to let me retire. (PM is Pricing Manager). But I have been asked to stay for an additional 2-3 weeks to help the new candidate, who is touted to be a capable figure in the next generation. To this, I have agreed and will assist him in office, for a few days more even after he is sworn-in on 4 July.
The 9 days after the end of my official term in office, had been designated as the 'Cooling off' week, and I will be nowhere seen in office. I will not be able to appear in Office Communicator nor Email, nor post any messages on the company's social network. To safeguard myself, I will be overseas. Once that 9 days are over, I can return to office to aid in the handover of official duties.
Although there had been little or no contributions during my term in office, I am still expected to be given the title, "Emeritus Pricing Intern". However, I'm sure the new candidate will press for even more reforms, and listen to the wishes of the people (in the department), and take the position to greater heights.
人生是黑白的.
