I burnt the WHOLE of today and am feeling very guilty, especially when looking at the mountain load of work undone, and revisions for next week's tests unfinished.
#1: Picnic at Marina Barrage.
I saw my favourite dog of the day! It's pristine white and very cute. Anyone knows the breed?
It's friend-friend mate ka-chiaw it, by tunneling under it and lifting it up. Cute right!
And they were very playful! Not just self-entertaining, but also entertaining us.
It was quite crowded even on a Friday afternoon. School children came to fly kites; pilot trainees came for their NE visit; disabled elderly came for a day of excursion; newly-weds-to-be came to have their wedding photos taken; youngsters came to picnic; couples came for a date; groups of tourists came to take photos; and kite-enthusiasts came to flaunt their possessions and skills.
A Jelly-fish-looking kite.
A bird-looking kite.
A cobra-looking kite.
It was a bright and sunny day. Winds were strong though, and many kites were up.
But before long, dark clouds gathered. Very fast indeed. Lightning and thunder too. Oh by the way, we could hear the F1 cars zooming loudly from as far away as Marina Barrage.
We visited the exhibition gallery. Watched this simulation of how the Barrage works. I bet you didn't know there are 9 gates.
人生是黑白的.
