The Star: 萧敬腾 《Mr. Rock 洛克先生 演唱会》

He is the first male singer that I am willing to pay to attend his concert. And it's his first-ever Concert Series, and so of course, this was his first solo concert in Singapore. Very powerfully strong vocalist--Mandopop listeners are lucky to have him discovered from just 3 sessions of 超级星光大道PK赛。In just over 1000 days in showbiz, this 1987-er had won quite a good fan base and followers, and is definitely tipped to be an indispensable part of a new and rising generation of Mandopop singers.

Never mind that he's not expressive. The concert was full of laughter at his actions and humourous liners. He was really very energetic on-stage, and his stage presence and charisma have improved.

Never mind that he has only 2 original albums and 1 翻唱专辑, the crowd was there to hear him croon any songs, because 老萧 can sing any song well using his unique vocals.

This part was funny. Being not-expressive, he 'resorted' to using a live-size cut-out to 'talk' to audience, and had trouble talking for a timed 2-minutes.

Side note: I saw Favourite DJ outside stadium after the concert, and coincidentally had the 'Auntylucy' DVD with me then. But, not having a marker with me, I gave up the chance of asking for an autograph. I could have made do with a pen. -_-
