It is a music chart created from the collaboration of 7 regional radio stations like 台湾的HitFM联播网、香港电台、上海东方广播电台、广东人民广播电台音乐之声、北京音乐台、新加坡醉心频道933、马来西亚988. For the past 9 years, this chart has staged 9 annual music award ceremonies to honour the singers on this prestigious chart.
Come next month in December 2009, the setting up of a 全球流行音乐金榜 (Golden Chinese Global Chart) looks set to rival the former! It is a music chart created from the collaboration of other global Mandarin radio stations like 中央人民广播电台MusicRadio音乐之声、City FM城市之音、台北之音Hit FM联播网、新加坡1003资讯娱乐台、马来西亚MY FM、洛杉矶KAZN1300中文电台、纽约中国广播网、加拿大中文台、澳大利亚布里斯本澳华之声、澳大利亚悉尼2ac等优秀华语电台. Apart from the most popular radio stations in Taiwan (HitFm) and Malaysia (MyFM), it also boasts of including China's most extensive radio network (MusicRadio). Their first music award ceremony will be staged in 2011.
