I love listening to Sunday Eleven (UFM1003, Sundays 10pm to Midnight), especially after a major concert event.
That's because it NEVER FAILS to convince me that I had totally missed out on a powerful concert held here. The DJ would play songs that were being performed in the concert, along with descriptions of the concerts, and her feelings and emotions.
Mayday held their concert over the last 2 nights here. The DJ attended both--and both nights had quite different content. It was pretty interesting to hear about how she described and compared the concerts, along with the playing of Mayday songs. I just heard her play an hour-long of classic Mayday songs in her programme.
I didn't start as a Mayday fan. Their songs were noisy to me. But that was before I started to appreciate their sentimentals about 7 years back. That was when I started to enjoy their music, and get accustomed to Rock and Live Music. Listening to them performing Live at Taiwan 101's New Year Countdown Concert last year was a total luxury. I can still remember how the tens of thousands of Taiwanese can ALL sing (shout) along with ALL their songs. That was really when I realised how important they were to the Mandarin Pop Scene.
But I didn't attend their concerts over the past 2 nights.
I really should have.
人生是黑白的.
