The CNY break felt really too short. But then again, the length is about the same every year. Can't wait for the long holidays at the end of the semester.
Come to think of it, this CNY just felt a tad different. On the whole, it just seemed a bit 'normalised'. I can't really describe, just that perhaps the atmosphere isn't as hyped-up. Probably it's the gloomy economic outlook. But whatever it is, CNY remains my favourite occasion, although gradually and increasingly, I feel that angbaos no longer matter now..
And I love the reunions and gatherings that people try to make time for. We just had a BMT-mates gathering, though at the last minute, many couldnt make it due to varied commitments. But i'm glad it went on as planned, and we had a good update over LY's undergraduate life at UWA. Given all our busy schedules, the next likely gathering would be months later already, which is about time when the Londoners are back.
And oh, I will be doing Sundown this year again. And hopefully StanChart too. But i'll probably not be able to train as much as last year though.
人生是黑白的.
