NUS-Mitsubishi Challenge 2008 with fellow Anergizers last Saturday!
I didn't know car rallies can be so much fun, racing around Singapore in 14 checkpoints.
We flagged off as the First Car at 815am, and reached the first phototaking station at Kent Ridge Park. And took the required photo in seconds, ran back to the car, and zoomed off. It was really likely that for quite some time, we were among the fastest teams in this 70-team competition.
The race took us to all corners of the country, including East Coast Park (we played 'mini tanks laser tag'), Bishan Park, Bottletree Farm (we scooped up fish), Punggol end, OrchidVille, Snow City (we slided down without much protection from the cold), Sunset Way (we ate chilli ice-cream), Henderson Waves, Leng Kee Showroom, Kent Ridge Park, Bukit Chandu, National Stadium and G-MAX!!!
Hah, G-max(reverse bungee) was the best part. Super value for money as it was just about $7 per person, and I've finally tried it..
It was only after more than half the race when we realised it was NOT a 'race'! Speed and Time didn't matter at all, only the points at each station did. No wonder we were the only team rushing, speeding and RUNNING. How enthu.
Didn't win, but good fun!
The only photos in my phone:
