It was supposed to be a surprise celebration, but kinda as expected, as time passes, little details tend to leak and leak.
And so it wasn't as surprising as we had once hoped.
But nevertheless, the cooperation between her 2 "important(?)" cliques didn't turn out bad, though the all-female Dawgz clique did most of the preparation and planning, while the all-male Spades gang played the compliant role.
The plan started off with a race-like game, starting with clues and tasks that would lead her from Bishan to Bugis, where the 2nd part of the game took place, involving the locating of the Spades members.
We had steamboat dinner at one of the many competiting alternatives at Bugis, but it sort of 'confirmed' my impression that Bugis doesnt have nice steamboat houses. Ok, that's not the main issue here anyway. Dessert was nice at a nearby shop though.
And she got a warm present from us--a scrapbook with pages that were done up by us. And other weird stuff, including a shirt and a pole(?).
