It's 3 weeks left to the big marathon!!!! And we're still quite unable to break 4 rounds the reservoir (17km). And like what Sunday Times is saying, it is now the 'tapering' phase of training, where joggers should be cutting down on training, but retaining the intensity each time.
But for once-a-week joggers like me, i guess it really doesnt make a difference, compared to the recommended 5-days-a-week training schedule drawn up by the paper. And yes, i'm really 'tapering', but that is only because i'll be out of town for a good 9 days.
Looking at the route of the run, i reckon i'll have a really hard time at East Coast Park, with its long stretch from Fort Road to past Bedok Jetty, AND BACK. It's really gonna be very mentally challenging there. I'm hoping to complete the run in 6 hours though, (or more).
