3/4 of the Lazy Sect (ys + geraldine + me) were at a Japanese restaurant in Marina Square. We had wanted to order this, $6.50:
Then we saw this, which is the same thing, without the scoop of ice cream, $4.50:
Then elsewhere in the menu, we saw the ice-cream, $1.50:
So YS was fast to suggest buying these separately: 
And with some DIY, we got this:
And guess what, not only did we get that exact $6.50 dessert cheaper, the ice cream was even MORE than what we would have got in that $6.50 dessert, as it was more than 1 scoop! And yes, we also earned the cone FREE!Lesson learnt: Do study the menu carefully. There's a way to get around it..And in some way or another, because of this, we broke into hysterical laughter, so hard that it made me gasping for breath. I've never had such a hard laugh in YEARS and it was just amazing how the trio held the laughter continuously for more than 5 minutes and thereafter complained of muscle pains in the abdominals.
