Yesterday was very satisfying.
That is not just because i obtained my FOURTH autograph by FishLeong, but also that her free live mini concert was just great. She sang a total of 10 songs at The Max Pavilion, 7 of which are from her newest selling album, QinQin.
6 of us went, including wenjian & his friend bingyi, wenxiang & his 2 junior friends shumin and annabel.
I reached first at around 2pm, and was actually the 12th in the queue. But my lead in the queue didnt mean that i'll get the best seats, as there was one big block of seats reserved at the front for other fans, but still the view was decent and would have fetched 100-odd bucks, given the same distance at the indoor stadium.
And wenxiang brought the unfinished lightsticks (from the 6th GCMA event last month). Surprisingly, if we were to exclude the small handful of Malaysian FanClub members, we were the ONLY ONES armed with lightsticks. That really made us attracted alot of attention from the audience, especially when we tried making 'FISH' using the thin lightsticks. The attempt failed badly cos the words didnt form properly and the lightsticks were too thin to be seen clearly.
Then when FishLeong sang 小手拉大手, she came down to the audience and shook hands. WX turned crazy and 'snatched' her hand and was jumping for joy. Fish reciprocated by smiling widely back at him. The people around us were pretty amused by him as well.
"Oh no, i forgot to bring my whistle along," he said.
"HENG AHHhh!" I thought. haha.
On the whole, the mini concert was really great. Im sure the 1000-over audience enjoyed it wholly, and it was almost 1/3 of a complete paid-concert. And that made me look forward to her concert tour in 2007.
After the mini concert, it was the autograph session, and that was when i received her 4th autograph and her 4th handshake.
I told her: "静茹, 继续加油!" (continue to add oil)
And she replied: "好! 继续加油! 谢谢你!" (with a smile and a handshake)
And i think Wenjian's message to her was a bit funny. "静茹, 圣诞快乐!" (merry christmas)
And wenxiang almost managed to strike a conversation up there on stage, by asking her when will she come back to singapore for the concert. The funny part is, as FishLeong was replying him the answer, wx could feel his bag being pulled, as the security personnel was trying to keep the flow going. lol.
