woot. just came back from k-ster + exotic dinner at chinatown with mostly 11/04 people. I didn't sing much at today's session, partly because of a huge 8-people turnout, and also due to the presence of so many PRO singers from 11/04. I've long heard from royston about how good his female classmates can sing, and sure enough, they really are good at crooning. So, i had better not try to embarrass myself. Perhaps singing with my bmt-mates is generally more enjoyable. (oops, no pun intended!)
And dinner was exotic! Okay, exotic only by my personal standards, cos i've never dared to try them. Frog legs and pig's intestines. Don't say im suaku or what, cos very often the only animals i eat are fish, chicken and pork.
Well, this really reminds me of the 'vegetarian video' that was played when i was in camp last friday. It was a video that encouraged vegetarianism and goes to show how cruelly the animals were treated and killed, before being served on our dining tables. I can't forget images of how chickens, pigs and cows were bled to death by slashing their throats. Pigs are hung upside down when they are fully conscious, then their throats are slid by a knife, and blood just gushes out like free flowing water, and they had to helplessly struggle in mid-air until enough blood was lost to render them dead. It kinda pains in me to think about all that. Sigh.
------------------------- My top 3 favourite songs this week: 1. 亲亲 [梁静茹] 2. 雨天 [孙燕姿] 3. My Only Chance [Kit Chan] (one of the musical pieces from Forbidden City)
