im back from a 11-day lock-in.
but seriously, the 7-day field camp was much much much much slacker than wad i tot.. in fact, i tink those training camps that i underwent during my dhsnpcc days were worse.. but it was a fruitful camp anyway, learnt alot of tings and saw alot of tings.. i felt closer to some ppl, esp my section mates, and oso felt utterly disgusted by some others in other sections.. Human behavior indeed.
for the nights spent.....
-the 1st nite was spent in a centipede-infested area, but i
think none kajiao-ed me...
-the 2nd nite was spent under an ants-infested tree..
-the 3rd nite was ok..but had alot of mosquito bites..
-the 4th nite was spent in a rats-infested area. (duno how many la, but there's the occasional spotting of a small mammal running around and the continuous rat-screeching sound against the backdrop of the sound of falling rain)
-the 5th nite was ok..
-the 6th nite was spent in an earthworms-infested hole. (its a shellscrape, some sort of a grave-like hole that i had to dig.. and guess wad, i spent hours digging, and i unearthed 70++ visible earthworms.. and that night, we had to sleep inside, and our commanders took away all our groundsheet...so,...)
All in all, field camp was fun, at least for my coy..but its too early to b happy now, cos the next 3 days will be SIT test, at outfield again, which is likely to be worse.. And i seem to lose a few tings during the field camp, but miraculously, i got all back.. but i'd better b more careful, cos the commanders had warned, that if we lose/forget tings during SIT test, we'd b liable for guard duty. Sia lah.
