wow, so fast its been 2 weeks since enlistment... and one disturbing truth is that, the honeymoon period is officially over... No more giving chances by the sergeants, no more laughing, smiling or wadever.. No more slacking around.. What replaces all that would be a stricter ns regime, the kickstart of punishments and more vulgarity scoldings..
the past 2 weeks??? well..i guess there'll be too many tings to tok about...and im lazy to type oso.. furthermore, im obliged not to disclose military details, as stated in the oath.. but the past 2 weeks were really well-spent in building up friendships with my dear section-mates (aka bunk mates)...i tink our section is the lousiest in the platoon, in terms of speed (especially when falling in), and standards, but i guess we're the most united.. hopefully we'll all keep it that way, then we can all brace through the upcoming 7-day field camp and the 3-day SIT test..
its relatively easy to fall sick at tekong actually, cos of communal living.. a sizeable portion of our company (of 200) was down with cough and sorethroat.. and i tot that was all... but little did i know that actually such viral infections actually spread fast around tekong, attacking multiple companies.. i wasnt spared too, and i cant talk now la.. sian. And i didnt try reporting sick, cos it may give commanders the impression of chao keng..
hmm my platoon... basically until now its not that bad, but got some ppl that i really cant stand la.. especially ppl who boss around.. wayang-ing isnt much of a problem, yet. But ppl who act as if they have some stripes on their shoulders really suck la.. we as a platoon should try to work well together rite, but some ppl just want to build a wall between themselves and others.. even if an urgent task needs to be completed fast, shoudnt they approach the rest of us with a better note? i feel sad for them...
generally, i guess im quite lucky already.. my coy doesnt have weird ppl like in yl's coy...and though my coy isnt those white horse coy like ys's or any welfare coy like shaun's or royston's, i tink i should be glad its not that hiong a coy like vincent's.. so i have all the reasons to enjoy my bmt stay.
after all, its only 7 weeks left.
