woohoo.. booked out at noon today.. the first time so far, to be out from tekong when the sun is still up.. it'll be a 5-day CNY break, before being confined for another 2 weeks, due to the upcoming 7-day-field-camp..
it doesnt feel nice to be still sick, especially during the CNY period.. but i wun restrict myself from eating.. i've been looking forward to new year for duno how long already..
i guess this new year will be a very different one for me. its the
first time that i'll have to apply for exit permit b4 leaving the country; the
first time that i cannot visit all my relatives within the first 15 days in the new year cos essentially i'll be trapped at tekong from the 3rd day; the
first time i'll be wearing a cap when visiting; and its oso the
first time im turning down reunion gatherings with friends due to my booking in on 31st Jan...ugh.
spooky experiences haven really found their way, yet. But there's a minor one actually.. there was once when someone found a long, dyed hair in the basin of the toilet, which isnt something to be expected, cos there's no females around and everyone has hair just 1cm long.. But my company is a clean one la, compared to some others which i shan't name..
SOC is a big trouble for me...especially those higher obstacles.. and i doubt i'll pass it, thanks to my jelly legs when im up at the Jacob's ladder..furthermore its just 3 more lessons before the test.. sianz, but heck it. it isnt possible to conquer my fear in just 3 more tries de..
right, i tink i'll end here.. there's nothing much to blog about the last few days, as it had been rather slack cos of the 2-days-2-nights spent at the range, though we slept for only 3 to 4 hours each night then..
and oh.. unlike many ppl who lost weight just 3 weeks in BMT, or others who could actually gain 7kg in the same period, mine's ever constant. And heng my commanders didnt bring us to the barber yesterday to shave our 3-week-long hair..so at least i have some hair to boast of during CNY..
