After two years at college, I’ll be going back to school again.
Only that this time, it will be a hell lot of difference. It will be a military school.
Today I finally received the light blue enlistment letter.
“You are hereby required under Section 10 of the Enlistment Act, to report for enlistment on 06 Jan 2006 (fri) at 1130am to BMTC Sch 1.”
Right. This is a compulsory school. If I pon this school, I’ll be breaking the law. So cannot pon.
Anyway, I’m really interested to know, if anyone reading this now, by any chance was posted to the same school on the same day at the same time with me… If everything is the same, we’d be company mates liao…
hMm. 6 jan.. that works out to be barely 80 days from today. Only 2 months++ more. But freedom only comes after A levels end, which is 40+ days from today. With abit of maths, it means that true freedom only exists for 30++ days. Ok take that as 1 month. Gosh. I have only 1 month of free civilian life left.
With the date confirmed, I guess I really have to make full use of my numbered days after A Lvls… I shall spend my days as though there’s no tomorrow, for the opportunity costs of not doing that is infinity. Freedom is priceless.
But at least, I guess jan batch is better than apr batch, in the sense that most of your friends are botak wif u.. I tink it feels better that way. Moreover, with a quick glance at the calendar, I can gather that jan batch enjoy more hols??? I tink so, cos of the cny period.. hMm. Wadever the case, we have no say over this.
Accept it and move on.
