had a power trip juz now.. so the house was in total darkness for half an hour..
actually, even without any lights on, its still very very bright lor, cos of the surrounding streets and the brightly lit buildings around.. the feeling of pitch-darkness can never be experienced in singapore la..
but nevertheless, the half hour short circuit still reminded me of the unforgettable days during OCIP last december at sabah.. i really really really really miss the great 14 days, when we lived in a remote village deep in the mountains, together wif zillions of insects, big n small, all around us..those were the total stress-free days that i really really hoped to be leading lor.. its like, every single day would have new surprises awaiting for u.. and the fresh air, cool surroundings and the im-willing-to-die-for star studded night sky, really made those days the happiest days of my life yet.. haiz. i really hope to go back this year leh. really lor. if not, i duno when there'll be any 2nd chances.. togudon, sabah, u haf to wait for me k...?
today was the 1st day of prelim results release.
when i got back maths, i was totally shocked. i couldnt have imagined i could get such 'good grades' when i leave out 20 marks and 10 marks respectively in each paper. so, when i knew paper 1 was 68 and paper 2 was 71, i almost died.. though the grades are still not anywhere near my own ideal target, but im thankful already, cos getting a B for maths is the BEST GRADE I'VE EVER GOTTEN IN TJ!!! I've never got past a 'C' in jc b4 lor, so.. got improvement liao la.. i shall work hard towards an 'A' de.
physics came wif gd news for me too.. similar to maths, my best grade ever for physics was a 'C' lor, and i failed in 3 out of 5 physics lecture tests.. but im going to get a 'B' for physics as well.. so its ANOTHER RECORD BROKEN!! Phew. Haf to thank mr desai.. hee. he still encouraged me that i can do BETTER in A levels.. Rest assured i will!! But Paper 2 was quite bad la, only had 53/90.. it was the easy paper 3 that helped me secured a 87/110.. duno if i should rejoice about the marks in paper 3, cos seriously, it was relatively easy, compared to previous years'.. but heck, that wun bring me off-guard de..
hMm but chem wasnt that ideal.. it was way way way too far from my ideal grade.. cos chem will still stay for a 'C' lor. And i've been getting 'C' for all the past major exams.. Chem is really a heavy subject la.. and seriously, i haf tried my best already.. there's simply too much to swallow la. i'll be stronger when A levels near. Watch out.
